WHO?
Chiyo Arae is a designer and artist who works in various field, such as graphic, web, fashion, and 2D art.
Born in Tokyo japan 1983, move to england to study Fashion Design 2001. Completed my degree in Fashion Design and Technology at London College of Fashion, University of Arts London 2005. After finishing internship at Jens Laugsen Ltd. my attention was strongly drew towards art, illustrations and graphic.
I have participated in Muki Paws Exhibition 2005, performed live painting at music events and promotion Events for Grouch Beer in UK.
Recent years, I've been working on few Projects making artwork for CDs and Record.
WHAT I LIKE
I get very excited when I see, make or hear things repetitive. Repetitive lines, repetitive circles, repetitive melodies, repetitive movement....
Things like mashrooms, hair, moss.
I also like old things with a bit of newness, and new things with a bit of oldness in it.
I have big love to new and old music and truly enjoy designing music package for good underground music.
